Timeless: Come on pieces can be collected and curated. Our designs are made to last for decades. Never becomes obsolete.
Ageless: Since Come On doesn’t believe in labels, anybody of any age can use our pieces.
Our challenge is to maintain the brand’s ethos. We’d like to be able every day to push boundaries in design, in the quality of our products, and in consumer habits. We believe in insisting on the brand’s concept at all times.
SUBCULTURE
Since the brand’s inception, Come On has paid homage to iconic music and movies, Punk, Post Punk, New Wave and Indie, among other genres, as well as cult classic movies, and various cultural movements.
With references to cultural landmarks such as “Stranger than Paradise” by Jim Jamusch, and iconic bands like New Order, Joy Division, Bauhaus. Sonic Youth, and The Jesus and Mary Chain, amongst others. These tributes testify to Come On’s ongoing dedication to celebrating the intersection of fashion, music and cinema.
Come On is ludic, like Punk, Fashion and Surrealism.
In punk culture we find the musical and cultural, the attitude, the autonomy of the punk rock ethos, the independence, disruption, rebellion and freedom of expression; being authentic, not asking for permission and not explaining oneself. Also, the disinterest of the opinion of others, the non-prejudice, the unapologetic, and the romantic and melancholic of these concepts, and going towards the past with references and winks. A brand that also aims to transmit the nostalgia of the analogic and reformulates concepts and occasions of use.
In Surrealism we find inspiration in cinema, Luis Buñuel, Man Ray, Duchamp, Leger, amongst others, the irrational unconscious and arbitrary, everything is possible, no rules.
The irrational and unconscious as a means to change life, society, art, people through revolution.
In Come On we transmit the concept of Freedom and create a new space for self-expression and autonomy: real, unreal, surreal, unapologetic spaces.
